Local-stiffness-modified Beam Spring Model Simulation on Column-free Quasi-Rectangular Segmental Tunnel Lining
The beam spring model (BS model) has better simulation results on the shield tunnel structure than the equivalent stiffness homogenization ring model (ESHR model). For the structure with longitudinal joints governed by large bending moment, the BS model can partly simulate the deformation characteristics of the structure caused by the joints. However, the BS model still has certain limitations on consideration of the joints. In this paper, a FEM model named local-stiffness-modified beam spring model (LSMBS model) is established to consider the joint influence on segment near the joints. A full-scale experimental study on a column-free quasi-rectangular segmental tunnel lining is carried out. The simulation results by LSMBS model are compared and verified by the experiment. A numerical model that can truly reflect the mechanical behavior of the structure is obtained. The deformation mechanism of the structure is analyzed at the same time.
