  A Performance-Based Structural Fire-Resistance Design System for Underground Public Structure

  The fire-resistance design of underground structures is different from ground structure for they are different in aspects of material, structure, load, fire scenario and so on. But, at present, the fire-resistance design of underground structure is mainly conducted taking standards of ground structure as reference, which cannot fulfill the requirements of fire resistance of underground structures. In order to solve the problem and improve the safety level of the underground structure, a new standard is being written in China. "Standard for Structural Fire-Resistance Design of Underground Public Building", ("Standard" for short), is the first Chinese structural fire-resistance design guideline for underground public buildings.
