Study on mechanics characteristics of tunnel structure crossing under high-rise building
Nowadays, High-speed railway is extended to the China Midwest, but there exists a higher design or construction requirements for high-speed railway compared to Eastern China due to a mountainous area with complex geological conditions and terrain conditions. The new railway line from Lanzhou to Chongqing has to cross underneath the high-rise building group at LYS-14 section of the suburbs of Chongqing, so the shallow tunnel projection is adopt in the soft rock. This is a hot topic for some researchers all over the world how to ensure the safety or stability of the high-rise buildings during the shallow tunnel construction. The settlement or deformation law of high-rise buildings should be studied or analyzed to take some reinforcement measures during tunnel construction in advance, such as the building structure reinforcement, reinforcing support measures, and so on. The construction technology of shallow tunnel crossing under high-rise building have always been carried out for many domestic and foreign scholars. The surface settlement deformation law of shield tunnel crossing under those dense building group were studied using the numerical simulation (Qi taiyue el al.,2012), then some pre-reinforcement measures had been put forward to reduce the deformation of ground buildings. Based on the shopping center station for Guangzhou metro line 2, the settlement relationship of between tunnel crown and building foundation were analyzed, then the whole damage process of tunnel surrounding rock was simulated during the tunnel construction (Wang shanyong, el al., 2002). Xie Jinshui (2004) introduced a case for the running tunnel crossing under plastic formation with buildings on the ground in Nanjing subway, some pre-reinforcement measures were token successfully to pass through those buildings, such as pipe-shed support, pre-grouting with small duct, work face grouting and so on. Nowadays, some research results for tunnel engineering crossing under the existing building focuses mainly on the running tunnel construction for shield tunnel (), while the Drill and Blasting method for shallow tunnel is seldom adopt, especially for the high-speed railway tunnel engineering crossing under high-rise building group in the city. So it should be further studied the Safety evaluation issues of high-rise buildings during tunnel construction。 In this paper, the construction mechanics characteristics of shallow tunnel is analyzed by using Finite Element Method (FEM), and some sensitivity indexes of high-rise buildings was put forward to evaluate safety level of building during tunnel construction. These results would be as a reference for construction and design of some similar tunnels engineering in the future.
