  Analysis on Surrounding Rock Deformation of Double-arch Tunnel in Urban Underground Road

  It is imperative to develop and utilize the underground space with the growing contradiction between urban development and the lack of land resources. The International Academic Conference on Underground Space held in Tokyo in 1991 passed the Declaration of Tokyo, and pointed that the 21st century was of exploiting the underground space by human beings. It can reduce the occupation of land since the smaller line spacing between two tunnel caverns, thus it is widely used in recent years. There’re some researches on different construction methods’ effect on surrounding rock deformation of double-arch tunnel at present. However, it’s still not clear for the rule between the type of mid-partition wall and surrounding rock deformation of double-arch tunnel and it needs further study.
