Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP) is the first planned subway project in the Republic of the Philippines, which is planned to be constructed in Metro Manila. This project is funded by Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA) and is considered as the project that will have a huge impact to Metro Manila in terms of upgrading the transportation standards. Upon completion, this will have an operational length of about 33.1 km which will have 17 underground stations. Also, the MMSP will connect to another project through an elevated station. As of May 1st 2021, the design of the project is ongoing which is subject to be completed by the end of 2021. This paper summarizes the route planning from Information Collection Survey Stage, Feasibility Study (F/S) Stage, to Detailed Design (D/D) Stage. In addition, general information including structural planning outline and main technical parameters of MMSP are summarized.
