  WeView - An Integrated Data and Elaboration System of Global Underground Projects

  A team of engineers from Webuild has developed an IT integrated platform, WeView, for the collection, processing and transmission of data from all plants, equipment and sensors utilized in a TBM construction site including also geological data, personnel tracking, vehicle tracking, and segment tracking. WeView is designed to help the management to timely control the overall situation and parameters of all the main plants, equipment and operations performed on a TBM site and promptly take the right decisions, based on consistent data. Alarms are generated automatically if a parameter overshoot a defined limit, informing in real time the responsible staff through SMS or Email. WeView monitors also the main environmental parameters in the interaction between machines and environment, helping the management in keeping under control the environmental aspects of the project, helping in the identification of the environmental targets (e.g. GHG reduction) and their achieving.
