Joint is the most important feature of prefabricated structure different from conventional cast-in-place structure. One kind of unique grouted mortise-tenon joint is used in the prefabricated metro station first built in Changchun, China. The grouting material is the key factor to determine the construction and bearing characteristics of the joint. In this paper, a thorough research on joint grouting materials has been carried out by experiments and auxiliary numerical analysis, including the performance requirements of engineering structure to grouting materials, the applicability of grouting materials, the physical and mechanical properties of modified epoxy resin, the injectability of modified epoxy resin, and the special grouting equipment. A new joint grouting material "modified epoxy resin by quartz powder" was developed, and a series of material formulations suitable for different temperature conditions were formed, and its physical and mechanical properties were mastered. The grouting test system was developed, and the key technical parameters of grouting were put forward. Special grouting equipment was developed to realize the joint grouting construction technology of large capacity, high pressure, high stability, pipeline cleaning free. The research results have been successfully applied in practical engineering, and have important application value for the design of prefabricated metro station.
