Fundamental study on tunnel excavation analysis with considering groundwater
If a large amount of water inflow occurs suddenly during the construction of a mountain tunnel, it may lead to a deterioration of construction performance and collapse of the tunnel face. In addition, it is expected that the ground water inflow will have a significant impact on the living environment of the neighboring residents at the tunnel construction site in the case of a small overburden. Currently, the mechanism of groundwater-induced tunnel deformation has not been sufficiently investigated. In this study, the effects of groundwater inflow on the tunnel structure and the periphery of the ground were investigated by a coupled analysis considering the mechanical effects of tunnel excavation and groundwater flow.Recipient :
