  Dr.-Ing. Carola Edvardsen is one of the world's leading experts on the durability of concrete. She specializes in the stability and durability assessment of large international bridge, tunnel and marine projects. For example, she was in charge of the design of the final concrete recipes for all construction projects for the DOHA metro project. As a valued member of technical and standards committees, she also has an excellent overview of the state of the art on watertight concrete structures such as tunnels and basements.
