  Impact Assessment of Tunnelling on Adjacent Flyover Pile Foundation in Mumbai Metro Project

  The purpose of this study is to analyse the impact of bored tunnels on nearby flyover pile foundation and rock formation. The study covers the series of developments of tunnel excavation close to existing pile foundation. Impacts of excavation on the existing structures are studied using suitable standard software. Model outputs will be cross verified in the field and then validated. For appropriate assessment different model parameters have been tried. The results of this study will be a guideline for analysing the impact of bored tunnels on nearby pile foundations in Mumbai region.
