  The Common Communication Cable Duct for Bangkok Metropolis

  Messy line is the common street view of Bangkok. The Underground Electric Cable Projects of Metropolitan Electricity Authority will leave other communication cables to find their space on the street. Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) was assigned by the Government to study and implement the common communication optical fibre cable duct network to accommodate the abandon cable lines from the pull off electric poles. Krungthep Thanakom Co., Ltd., the city enterprise, is now the responsible agency to take care of. This paper describes the design concept, duct laying methods and financing of the project: BMA Underground Duct Project (BUDP) then discuss the expected result.
