Investigation on Response of Segmental Lining due to Adjacent Pile under Loading
This study analyses the impacts of pile under loading on existing tunnel segment structure focusing on the tunnel behavior. Key influencing parameters, particularly the positions of key segment and pile tip, are also investigated. The results show that the behavior of the tunnel lining due to the effect of loaded pile is different when the tunnel lining is considered as assembly of segments. The deformation of tunnel segmental lining is larger than that of the tunnel continuous lining, both under completion of stunneling step and loaded pile. By contrast, the structural forces of tunnel segmental lining are smaller than those of the tunnel continuous lining because of joint effects. Moreover, the positions of key segment of tunnel lining plays an important role on the overall tunnel deformation and structural force.
