The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation’s (MMRC), Mumbai Metro line 9 project involved the construction of three closely spaced tunnels. The close proximity of these tunnels necessitates the examination of the influence of multiple closely spaced tunnel openings on ground deformation. It consists of parallel twin stabling tunnels of new metro and storm water tunnel. The different construction sequence in different geology and in situ stresses or at rest earth pressures or field stresses (Kₒ) are used & compared the result analysis. We considering in this because for construction of parallel twin stabling tunnel, what is the effect on storm water tunnel lining. The behaviour of axial forces & bending moments in the lining of storm water tunnel are considered in these cases are studied & comparing the results with the help of finite element analysis software. Ground settlement is considering separately in this analysis, numerical analysis for settlement is carried out with the help of finite element analysis for triplet tunnel construction. Empirical analysis is carried out for single tunnel settlement.
