Research on Mechanical Characteristics of Longitudinal Joint of Shield Tunnel
Shield tunnel is a kind of fabricated structure which consists of segments and bolts. The existence of joints make the tunnel have the characteristic of flexibility. The longitudinal joints bear cyclic load of tension and compression when under seismic load, reflecting its features of opening and compressing. This paper combines the numerical analysis and experiments, investigating the feature of longitudinal joint’ stress and deformation while longitudinal seismic forces affecting. The results show that when the tension takes effect, the joint opens and relates to axial force by liner positive correlation. Meanwhile, the concrete surrounding the sleeve bears the tension and becomes a weak zone when the joint opens. The max stress of bolt never reached its limit of yielding.Recipient :
