Experimental Study on the Performance of Grout Mixer with Vibration Filter
The grouting is applied to reinforcement or waterproof method by injecting into the ground or structure. Ordinary portland cement is typically used for the grouting method. To inject the grout, water must be mixed the cement which is powdery. The equipment required for this mixing is the grout mixer. When mixing the cement in powder form with water, the particles tend to fock each other. If they fock, the particle size tends to become larger. When the size of the particle increases, it is diffcult to inject into the microcrack of the rock. Recently, the population is concentrated in the city, traffc has been crowded, green space has been reduced. So we need to solve the traffc congestion, afforest and make a new space. Underground roads can solve these problems. So underground works such as underground roads have been increased. For underground work, a lot of reinforcement work is needed. It is necessary to solve the problem that the injection performance is lowered in the rock due to the fock of the cement particles. The injection test was carried out using a general mixer. A parallel plate system was used to simulate the cracks in the rock mass. The result of injecting only water at 0.016mm is passed. In the case of grout, the grout was passed when the width of the crack was three times bigger than the average particle size. It is judged that the cement particles are focked when they come into contact with water. In order to reduce the fock of cement particles, the flter was installed inside the grout mixer. And a vibrator was added to increase the effciency of the flter. Using this equipment, the cement particles are separated while mixing. In order to confrm the effect of the installed vibration flter, three types of cement were used for the test. The test was conducted at 100% water cement ratio. The temperature of the laboratory was maintained at 20℃, humidity was maintained at 40% to 60%. The test was performed under different conditions depending on the rotating speed of the mixer blade and the use of the flter. By each case, wet particle size test, uniaxial compression test and viscosity test were performed. It is many method for wet particle size test, Laser diffraction method was used in this paper. For unconfned compression tests, three specimens were prepared and tested for each age group. The average particle size has been reduced by 7% using a flter. The viscosity has been increased by 6.9% on average. When the vibration flter was used, it was confrmed that the unconfned compressive strength was increased at 3 days, 7 days, and 28 days. It was confrmed that the performance of the grout was improved by using the mixer equipped with the vibration flter.Recipient :
