Average Material Properties of Composite Ground
This study discusses the average Young’s modulus arising out of the inhomogeneity and the influ-ence of the arrangements of composite materials in the ground. Numerical analysis of tunnel ex-cavation in inhomogeneous ground which distributed two material properties were carried out. In this study, the ground is composed of two types of Young’s modulus. In addition, the each volume rate of material properties is changed. The displacements of extensometer measurement by nu-merical simulation were collected. Back analysis assuming the homogeneous ground was per-formed by using this displacement. The average Young’s modulus around tunnel excavation area was calculated by using Back analysis.Recipient :
