  Cross Section Templates for Brazilian Railway Tunnels

  The international literature is rich when it comes to section of road tunnels, but when the subject refers to the section of railway tunnels already perceives some lack in the academic area, when it comes to freight railroad this issue is even more rare. In view of this gap in the in-ternational literature about the study of cross sections templates tunnels for the freight railway, this research aims to suggest appropriate dimensions for vertical and horizontal templates, consid-ering the circulation of the double-stack trains type from a case study of a Brazilian railway: Lito-ranea Railway.
