Prague experience from driving metro tunnels in developed areas
The first operating section of the Prague Metro Line A, leading from Dejvická Station to Náměstí Míru Station, was inaugurated in 1978. Whilst this metro line was several times extended in the easterly direction, up to the current terminus - Depo Hostivař Station, trains were turned back at the western end of the line in always the same Dejvická end station. The development of the capi-tal has advanced; today, Vítězné Náměstí Square, a centre of the municipal district of Prague 6, where the Line A ended 6 weeks ago, is located virtually in the centre of the city. The construction of the new, 5th operating section of metro, designated as V.A, commenced at the turn of 2009/2010; the revenue service commenced on the 7th April 2015.Recipient :
