  The Application of Movable Support System in Deep Foundation Pit

  Using the 6th Bid Project of Metro Line 16 as the background, the article introduces the movable support system used in foundation pit excavation. The main difference between this new technique and traditional ones is that support members are set up rapidly and stably through specific preset tracks. A movable support system manages to speed up the construction progress, therefore, shortens the developing time for soft soil consolidation and creep deformation. The security and reliability of a movable support system are validated by field application. A movable support system has been proved to be an innovative new method for foundation pit excavation with less environmental impact.
