Corrugated steel plate structures (CSPS) have been used for almost 100 years in civil engineering projects all over the world [1], [2]. Traditional applications are culverts, small bridges and under and overpasses as well as tunnels. There are several types of corrugations available today. The smallest is 68mm*13mm and largest is 500*237 mm. They will mainly decide on sizes of structures built, i.e. the larger corrugation the larger structures. Today the largest structures built ( in terms of span) reach 24 m. Some tunnels have been built in the world with sue of CSPS like for example Koubleti railway tunnel in Georgia (totally 2,4 km with longest section 1,2 km) with span over 9 m [3].
