  A study on the trend of the deformation that has occurred in the railway tunnel

  Tunnel constructed more than 50 years ago is over 50 percent out of railway tunnel owned by our company at present, and also the ratio will be over 90 percent in 20 years later. It is expected that the numbers of engineers decrease under the influence of the declining birthrate in the future, and also the number of aged tunnels increase. And therefore, efficient inspection and maintenance will be important. We would like to report the analysis results of deformation by conditions occurred in the railway tunnel to grasp the current situation for promoting the efficient maintenance below in this paper.
